Olivier Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet 2018

The presence of the Leflaive family means fantastic Puligny-Montrachet. Olivier’s style is elegance and finesse over power. And it doesn’t come easily. This wine is made from hand-picked grapes and aged in small oak barrels, but the influence is subtle. This means it’s fantastic in its youth. Expect notes of citrus, white pepper, hazelnut and toasted almonds, a balancing minerality and an excellent length. Serve at 11-13oC with a cheese board.
