Lapostolle ′Cuvée Alexandre′ Chardonnay 2019, Casablanca Valley

Lapostolle is one of Chile’s finest wineries. They make this vibrant Chardonnay with grapes from Casablanca Valley – a region famed for producing elegant and complex white wines. To dial up the flavour even more, they ferment and mature part of the wine in French oak barrels. It’s a meeting of New World fruit and Old World techniques – and with a 93-point score from renowned critic James Suckling, it’s not to be missed. Expect notes of apple, pear, citrus and tropical fruits, with hints of herbs and lush vanilla. Its rounded texture makes it a perfect match for fish and seafood dishes.
