Bernard Fouquet is one of the most highly-regarded winemakers in Vouvray. Unsurprisingly, his speciality lies in Chenin Blanc – Vouvray’s main grape variety. He works with each parcel of vines individually to draw out the best in this versatile grape. This expertise allows him to make a range of styles, but this wine is made in a ‘sec’ or dry style. It shows a wonderful richness on the palate, with notes of elderflower and a great mineral balance. Drink with dressed crab.
