Château Courac has been in winemaker Frederic Arnaud’s family since 1641. He makes this blend of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and rare Counoise from 45-year-old vines. The result is a rich red with notes of dark-red fruits, velvety tannins, hints of spice and a fresh finish. It tastes great now, but it’ll continue to develop over the next decade.
