Château Méaume Bordeaux Supérieur 2019/20

A firm favourite for more than 30 years, Château Méaume is a bit of a Majestic legend. Their vineyards have hosted many a Majestic colleague over the years, and their wines were favourites of author Roald Dahl. What’s more, they’re sustainability pioneers. So you can be sure that what’s in your glass is as kind to the planet as it is delicious. Bordeaux wines labelled ‘Supérieur’ are a step up from your average bottle. They’re made with grapes from lower-yielding vines and must be aged in oak for at least a year – bringing you more complexity and intensity of flavour. Expect notes of rich, dark plum and blackberry, with hints of cedar. You’ll find it a great match for a charcuterie.
