Château Marzy Pomerol 2015/16

Bordeaux’s vintages tend to be painted in broad strokes – a vintage is either outstanding or not worth mentioning. But dig a little deeper and you’ll find there are bargains to be had in every vintage – including 2015. Pomerol is the smallest appellation in the whole of Bordeaux so the amounts of wine made there tend to be equally small. That’s what makes this one such a find. It’s incredibly aromatic, with a really silky texture. Perfect with Bordelaise-style roast lamb, and the perfect bottle if you want a great quality Bordeaux to drink now.
