Château De Pizay Brouilly 2021/22

The fantastic wines of Château de Pizay have been delighting the most demanding of Beaujolais fans since the Middle Ages. Pascal Dufaitre has been in charge of winemaking here for more than 30 years. And today, he’s as committed to the environment as he is fantastic Gamay. This one is made in Brouilly, a sub-region of Beaujolais where you’ll find remarkably fruity reds. It’s light and elegant, with flavours of raspberry, strawberry and prune. It’s an easy-drinking wine that won’t overpower the subtleties of pork.
