The Herzog winery may be based in California, but the family can trace their lineage back nine generations to Slovakia. They’re directly descended from Phillip Herzog, who made wine in Slovakia for the Austro-Hungarian court over 100 years ago. They were big fans of what he made. So much so, that the Emperor made Phillip a baron. In 1985, Baron Herzog wines was founded in California as a tribute to his legacy of excellence. Zinfandel is a classic Californian variety, and the Herzogs have done it justice with this kosher wine. Discover rich and juicy notes of blackberry, fig, vanilla and spice.
