Alphonse Mellot ′Le Paradis′ Organic Sancerre Rosé 2019/20

The Mellots have a rich 507-year-history in Sancerre. One member was even appointed as Louis XIV’s official wine advisor. Today, Alphonse, the 19th generation of the family, crafts this organic rosé in line with the lunar cycle. All this attention to detail means he’s now regarded as one of Sancerre’s finest winemakers. And it really shows here. Expect notes of red fruits, white pepper and sweet spices. Try it with white fish.
